Hi, just an update....for my blog hop giveaway, I am offering two wonderful charm packs. Each pack has about 40/42 fabrics and each square is about 5". Great for small projects and saves on the cutting out!
I have made a couple of quilts for my woollies, aka the labradoodles with charm packs. If you would like to win these charm packs leave me a comment telling me what you would do with them! I would use the Just Wing It to make a quilt -- pinwheels, maybe, on white ground? -- and the Petit Poulet to make accessories with (reverse appliquéd tees, fabric flower hair ornaments, a cover for a notebook, and maybe an oven mitt). Collar covers are about as close to clothes as she will tolerate. LOL. Now bed covers, throws, and toys are another story. I love charm packs. I would use them to make a lap quilt for my SIL, who is recovering from a double mastectomy, & hysterectomy @ 52 years old. Unfortunately she had put off her gall bladder surgery before being diagnosed, so she had to wait through chemo & the other surgeries before they gave her the gall bladder surgery at the end. I couldn't be more sympathetic, as it seemed hard to imagine all of this at once.
