Snowy days, more quilts and modern fabrics...

This is the view from my back window....all looks very pretty but we are so not equipped to deal with snow in the UK!!!  The woollies have been sent into a frenzy by all the white stuff..Raffi spends most of her time burying her ball and trying to find it again, then rushes after Zach as they race around the garden!!
Meanwhile, F's quilts are nearly done...this is one of my favourites..

I have also been experimenting with some thread tidy/armchair tidy designs and there is a new bird on the block!!!  Mr Zach is not sure of it.....

The pincushion can be removed, loose threads can be popped in the bucket and scissors etc can be kept safe in the pockets...

Keep safe and warm in this cold weather.....until next time!

Frippery has arrived.....

Frippery by Thomas Knauer has arrived in store!!  They will be on the webshop later....I have the yellow/orange/pink/green colour way and it is splendid!!  Quite a long way from the traditional fabrics I also love, but equally gorgeous...I have an eclectic mix in my collection!!
We met lots of old friends at Farnham Maltings yesterday and had a very busy day...lots of fabric cut and sold and stroked.   And lovely to meet some of my new blogging friends too!

Happy New Year.....

It has been a busy holiday!!  I had such a rush of quilts before Christmas that no photos were taken, no blog posts were written and everything seemed to flash by in a mix of turkey, fabrics and time!!   My niece's wedding in Liverpool, followed by Christmas, followed by my parents 60th Wedding anniversary!!! made for a very full and enjoyable December...

We are having a big celebration in the spring for the Wedding anniversary, so we took Mum and Dad out, with bottle of champagne in hand, to Wittenham clumps...an amazing place so high up that it overlooks the Thames and Oxfordshire.  Rather cold and windy, but fun anyway!!

Also a couple of makes...a fabric basket or bucket to hold all manner of junk!!

I am in the process of booking a village hall for my workshops planned this year, so watch this space! At Farnham Maltings this weekend, so see you there if you can make it! xx
