Another quilt done.....
One quilt sent off and one quilt waiting to go.....
Rosemary's quilt was a beautiful colour and lovely to quilt. I do love star quilts! I am currently doing another custom piece, which is on the machine and stitching up nicely! So Daphne, not long to wait!!
Now being a Friday, we are looking forward to a weekend of gardening and decorating! The weather is supposed to be okay (that makes a change!!) so outside it must be! Everything is overgrown and very jungle like ..so plenty of work ahead. Maybe just time to fit in a little piecing.....mmmmm!

Bella coming soon.....
Hello Tuesday morning! The woollies have been walked and the sun was shining for a change. Lovely. Just thought I would post about the new webshop which will be online fairly shortly and the new fabrics coming in....
I have a real eclectic mix of fabrics...those of you who visit my studio will know!!! The latest is Bella by Lotta Jansdotter. It is a wonderful mix of colours and perfect for large simple piecing. It is due to arrive in August....
Back to Lisa's quilt now...the huge beautiful civil war quilt on the machine. And to Olwyn, if you get a chance to read this...Happy Birthday!!

Some finished quilts....and more rain!!
It has been the most dreadful weather lately! Rain and grey days and lots of news of flooding throughout the UK. I have been very busy long arming and sewing, so I haven't blogged for a while....struggling to keep up with everything right now! Never mind, theres only one of me, so I can only do so much!! But I do have some piccies to show...
The swoon quilt is done and quilted. I will be selling a kit for it on my new webshop, coming soon!!! Same for the Urban beads quilt....using Jenny Pedigo's quick curve ruler, this quilt is such fun to make.
As for the pickle dish quilt, this quilt was sent to me from Durham and it is destined for a very lucky little girl.....what wonderful piecing and a real joy to quilt! Thank you Olwyn!
Yesterday, I was teaching up at a local quilt shop. A group of lovely ladies learning to piece lemoyne stars! Today, I am just about to complete a star quilt and load another! It certainly keeps me out of mischief, this quilting lark!!!! The woollies continue to love their daily walk and are currently fast asleep on the settee, lying upside-down!
